Danny!, MUSYCA Collaborate For New Single "Hello!"
The MUSYCA Children's Choir and Danny! have officially teamed up for the latest single from The Book Of Daniel.
Titled "Hello!" (and sometimes stylized "Hell(o)!"), Swain's self-described (and self-produced) "grunge surf trap rock" song "celebrates failure," according to the producer/songwriter. The second single from Daniel follows the runaway success of the Apple Music/Beats 1-featured "Constellations", and is built around a reverse sample of Oliver's "Good Morning Starshine".
"Hello!" also showcases vocals from Atlanta rising talent Zack Van Nus. Meanwhile, the San Fernando Valley based MUSYCA -- who Danny! reportedly "adores" -- has recorded with popular artists such as Luke Christopher, Aloe Blacc and Dave Koz, and recently appeared in the sci-fi film Valerian and the City Of A Thousand Planets alongside Rihanna.
"[We're] looking forward to more fun," says Dr. Anna Krendel, founder and executive director of MUSYCA Children's Choir, hinting of future collaborations between Swain and MUSYCA. Below, watch footage of the choir record vocals for Danny!'s not-yet-released single "Hello!".
