Amor Kismet Prepares StarTower Music Debut, Danny! To Produce
When people ask, “How long have you been together?” Erika, Crystal, and LJ always answer, “Forever.” Since they were 3, 4, and 7 years old, the Atlanta-based sisters of have been singing, writing, and performing as a trio.
Now a part of the StarTower Music family, Amor Kismet -- "love's fate" in a hybrid Spanish/Arabic translation -- is readying a debut album to be produced entirely by Danny!. This partnership comes straight off the heels of their recent success which includes winning #FlashUnsigned, a Twitter competition hosted by Bill Werde (Billboard, Rolling Stone) to spotlight unsigned acts, and a breakthrough performance at SOB's in New York City.
Amor Kismet's unique sound, which combines pop, R&B, neo-soul, dance, and world music influences, was first showcased on their EP The Love. The four-song effort was co-written by Amor Kismet sisters and singer-songwriter Michael Dean, and produced by Bill Zimmerman. The not-yet-titled StarTower Music debut will be produced solely by Danny Swain who, at press time, was "ecstatic" about the opportunity to work with the three ladies.
